Climate data sets at Columbia
Columbia University has a web site showcasing their freely
available data sets.
http://iridl.ldeo.columbia.edu/
Google Earth has raised the bar so effectively here, that I'm shocked
when I see late 90's style web sites.
I tried searching, but the search seems to be organized for 'power users',
using criterion such as 'station', which means you have to know something
about the datasets to be able to search them.
This makes it hard for new users, and more examples (or a better search capability)
would be helpful, since Apple is highlighting this site on their home page this week.
